UNAMI: 1609 Iraqis killed, injured during March

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The UN Assistance Mission to Iraq announced on Monday that “(1609) Iraqis were killed or injured due to violence and armed operations during last March.”

UNAMI mentioned in statement received by IraqiNews.com on Monday “About (229) civilians were killed and (883) others were wounded due to the armed operations and violence in Iraq.”

“The human casualties among the security elements reached (227) deaths and (300) injuries during the same period,” the statement added. END
