No curfew during elections – security committee

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The official spokesman for the elections high security committee said on Wednesday that there will be no curfew during the provincial council elections on Jan. 31. “There will be no curfew or vehicle ban during the coming elections and cars can freely move to reach poll stations,” General Aiden Khaled Qader told IraqiNews.com news agency. The provincial council elections are due to be held on January 31 in 14 out of 18 Iraqi provinces.   SH (P)/SR 1
