Wasit (IraqiNews.com) More than (25,000) security elements are going to participate in the elections of the provincial councils in Wasit province.A source from the Independent High Electoral Commission IHEC in Wasit reported to the correspondent of IraqiNews.com “About (25,529) voters of the elements of police and army forces have registered in the electoral commission to participate in the private elections for provincial councils in Wasit province.””The electoral commission has allocated 12 centers and 62 stations for the elections,” the source added, emphasizing “The completion of all logistic preparations to conduct the private elections for the security elements.”The Independent High Electoral Commission IHEC identified April 13th as the date for the private elections for the security elements and April 20th as the date to conduct the public elections of provincial councils. \END\
