Najaf PC demands resignation of head of Najaf FC

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The Sport Committee in Najaf Provincial Council demanded the Head of Najaf Football Club to resign from his post due to the deterioration of Najaf FC which comes in late position in the Iraqi Football Premier League.Member of the Najaf PC Sports Committee, Amjed Shehad, stated to IraqiNews.com “We demand the Head of Najaf Club, Sabah al-Karawi, to resign from his post for his failure in leading the club and for being responsible for the deterioration of the team results in the Iraqi Football Premier League.””The Provincial Council of Najaf discussed during Thursday session the means to support the club to rescue it from its financial crisis which puts the club at the low positions among other clubs,” he added.Najaf Football club occupies the 15th position out of 18 football teams within the Iraqi Football Premier League. \END\
