IHEC, 72% of security elements participate in Baghdad, provinces

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Head of the Electoral Commission Council, Sarbst Mustafa, announced the participation of (72%) of the security elements in the private ballot of the elections of provincial councils.Mustafa reported in press conference after the end of the private ballot attended by the correspondent of IraqiNews.com on Saturday “The voting rates in Iraqi provinces were Baghdad Rusafa 60%, Baghdad Karkh 60,5%, Nineveh 35,2%, Diyala 77%, Anbar 52,4% and Babel 80%.””The voting rates were in Karbala 80%, Wasit 75,7%, Salah-il-Din 69%, Najaf 74%, Qadesiya 85%, Muthana 83%, Dhi-Qar 82%, Maysan 83% and Basra 75%,” he added.The private ballot for security elements in the elections of provincial councils started on all Iraqi provinces since Saturday morning until 5 :PM when all the election boxes were closed. \END\
