Candidate assassinated in Diyala

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) A candidate for the Provincial Councils elections was assassinated in Diyala on Sunday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “A roadside bomb went off targeting the motorcade of Najim al-Harbi who was nominated through the Slate of Salih al-Mutleg.”

“A security force hurried to the explosion area and transferred the body to the morgue,” the source concluded.
