Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Walid al-Mohamedi of the Iraqiya Slate stressed that “Conducting the special voting of the security elements in Anbar and Nineveh provinces on last Saturday smoothly and seamlessly confirmed malicious aims behind the decision of postponing the local elections in these two provinces.”

Mohamedi mentioned in a statement received by IraqiNews.com on Sunday “The special voting revealed the ambivalence of the government where it argues that the security situation in Anbar and Nineveh is serious that is why the government postponed the provincial elections, and today it says that the special voting’s day passed peacefully and without any security breach.”

The special voting of the next provincial elections was launched on last Saturday for the security forces in 14 provinces including Nineveh and Anbar.
