Kurdish ministers, MPs to reassume offices after local elections, says Atiya

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the State of Law Coalition bloc at the parliament, Khalid al-Atiya expected the return of the Kurdish ministers and MPs to their offices after conducting the upcoming local elections.

Atiya told IraqiNews.com on Sunday “It is expected the Kurdish ministers and MPs to re-assume their tasks after 23rd, current April, ie, after the next provincial elections.”

He described “the recent visit of the Kurdistani delegation to Baghdad and the delegation’s members’ meetings with the top official there as positive where they agreed on setting a mechanism to resolve all the pending issues between both sides.”
