Turkmen Party calls international community to have attitude towards targeting Turkmens in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Turkmen Eli Party called the United Nations, the Islamic Conference Organization and the international community to take serious stance towards the targeting of the Turkmens in Iraq which aims through the terrorist operations to erase their national existence.

A statement issued by the Party on Tuesday cited “The Turkmen Eli Party addresses the human, Islamic and Iraqi conscience to consider the real risks facing the Turkmens who became a target for the terrorist groups.”

“The terrorist groups started to practice organized genocide against the Iraqi Turkmens through attacking their areas by terrorist operations that led to scores of deaths and injuries in addition to the damages for their properties,” the statement added.
