Territories allocated in Karbala to establish investment projects
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers assured that “The committee concerned with studying and allocating territories for projects of investment and development has allocated pieces of lands for the establishment of several projects in Karbala province.”A source of the Committee Affairs Directorate for the Media and Governmental Communication revealed in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The committee has allocated (75 Acres) to establish diesel station to the west of Karbala province for the interest of the Ministry of Electricity.””The committee allocated (106 Acres) for planting the right side of Karbala-Najaf road for the interest of the Ministry of Agriculture and four Acres to establish dates packing factory,” the statement added.The source stressed the “The importance to inform the General Authority of Antiquities and Heritage in case of discovering any relics during the implementation of the projects within six months starting from the allocation date, otherwise the allocation will be canceled.”It is worth mentioning, the committee, which is concerned with studying and allocating the territories for projects of investment and development was formed according the parliamentary decree no. 113 of 2011, has previously approved allocating territories to establish hundreds of projects of investment and development all Iraqi provinces.
