PM arrives in Missan

MISSAN / IraqiNews.com: Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki arrived in Missan on Wednesday to encourage citizens to take part in the elections, the head of the Missan support council said. “The premier arrived in Amara on Wednesday (Jan. 28) to attend a big gathering of the province’s residents held in al-Rai street in central Amara,” Sheikh Mohamed al-Sudani told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The visit aims to encourage citizens to take part in the elections,” he added.
