408 prisoners vote in Missan

MISSAN / IraqiNews.com: Nearly 408 inmates in Missan’s central prison have participated in today’s special voting process, monitored by political observers and representatives of civil society organizations, according to an official source from the prison. “A total of 408 prisoners out of 30,000 who have the right to a special vote, participated in the voting process that began at 07:00 a.m. and ended at 05:00 p.m. today,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “No violations have been reported,” the source added. An estimated 30,000 persons, including police and army personnel, hospital inmates, prisoners, and detainees cast their votes today in 79 polling stations.
