Maysan lifts curfew accompanying local elections

Maysan (IraqiNews.com) Maysan Operations Command lifted the curfew in the province that was announced within the security plan set for the local elections.

Maysan Operations Commander, Maj. Gen. Abdul Amir Kamil, told IraqiNews.com on Saturday “The lifting of the curfew includes all kinds of vehicles except the motorcycles and trucks,” noting “This procedure came after ensuring the success of the security plan.”

Maysan OC has announced curfew on Friday evening to cover all kinds of vehicles within the preparations set for the local elections on Saturday.
