Urgent – .Curfew gradually lifted in Basra

Basra (IraqiNews.com) Basra Police Command gradually lifted the curfew imposed on vehicles on Saturday.

Security source told IraqiNews.com “This decision was taken to facilitate the arrival of the voters to the voting centers,” noting “The curfew was lifted completely in Basra’s districts and sub-districts.”

Basra Police Dept has announced curfew on last Friday in preparation for conducting the local elections.
