Cement Plant to be built in Muthanna

(IraqiNews.com) The Iranian Ministry of Industry announced the starting of a project to build cement plant in Iraq

A statement by the Ministry cited “The specialized Iranian cadres started construction of the plant in the Iraqi Muthanna province at capacity of two million tons of cement per year.”

“Khwa Cement Plant’s experts are designing and building Muthanna Cement Plant through using Iranian materials,” according to the statement.

“Khwa Plant employed $ 245 million as investments to construct this plant within the next two years,” the statement added.
