Egyptian Free Zone to be established in Kurdistan Region

Egypt (IraqiNews.com) The Chief of the Egyptian Commercial Body, Anwar al-Sahrjty, announced erecting a Free Zone of Egyptian industrial projects in Kurdistan Region on (2 m2) million of area allocated for Egyptian investors for free.

Sahrjty stated after his meeting with the Minister of Trade and Industry in Kurdistan Regional Government, Senan Jalabi, “The negotiations included the means to develop the economic and commercial relations between Egypt and Kurdistan Region in addition to the special procedures related to establish a permanent exhibition in Kurdistan Region to display the Egyptian products.”

“The two sides agreed to study the possibility to establish Egyptian plants in Kurdistan Region to make use of the Egyptian experience and to train the Kurdish cadres in various fields,” he added.
