Serious electoral violations reported in Arbil, Tal Afar

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A report issued by the Tammuz Organization that monitors provincial election in Iraq highlighted alleged violations during the electoral process on Saturday, noting that the most serious were in Arbil and Tal Afar. “A polling center’s director in Arbil filled in ballot papers instead of the voters, violating voting secrecy” the report said. “In Tal Afar, western Mosul, a polling center was cancelled, because it was closed for 35 minutes, as the center’s director was not allowed in,” it added.
