Voting extended for one hour – IHEC

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The media spokesperson for the Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) on Saturday said that the Commission decided to extend voting by one hour, to allow the greatest number of people to vote. “Voting has been extended until 6:00 p.m., as it was original scheduled until 5:00,” Qassim al-Ibodi told Aswt al-Iraq news agency. He said that the IHEC called on people to check with their food stuff suppliers to learn at which polling centers they can vote. MH (P)/SR 1
