Soldier killed eastern Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) Iraqi soldier was killed due to an armed attack eastern Mosul.

Security source told IraqiNews.com “Gunmen opened fire targeting army checkpoint to the east of Mosul resulted in killing a soldier,” noting “the gunmen managed to flee.”

“Security force rushed to the incident spot and transported the dead body of the victim to the morgue,” the source added.
