Urgent – 28 worshipers killed, injured in southwestern Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) 28 worshipers were killed and injured due to an explosion of an Improvised Explosive Device targeted a mosque of southwestern Baghdad.

A security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Two prayers were killed and 26 others injured when an IED targeted al-Kubaisi mosques of southwestern Baghdad.”

“The police forces seized the area to avoid the repetition of the attack and transferred the injured to the nearby hospital for treatment and the corpses to the morgue,” the source concluded.
