Iraqiya MP calls PUK to give alternative for Talabani

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Wihda al-Jumaili of the Iraqiya Slate called the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan to find another alternative for the President, Jalal Talabani because the political crisis do not bear any compliments on account of the people interest.

Jumaili said “The statesmen in Iraq need to get to the dialogue table to resolve the political crisis sweeping the country,” noting “The vacant post of the President stands for missing link in this table expected to be held among the political sides.”

“It is not possible for a country such as Iraq which suffers increasing crisis to be free of a President especially this post is very crucial and the figure which occupies it can set many solutions for these crises experienced by Iraq,” she added.
