Trebil border inlet closed for 2 days

(IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi authorities informed the Iraqi Embassy to Jordan about closing Trebil border inlet in Anbar province for 48 hours as of Tuesday dawn for Iraqi internal reasons.

The Jordanian Ministry of Interior issued a statement on Sunday “Trebil border inlet will be closed for passengers and shipments,” noting that “This decision will not include the aviation travel since the air flights will remain on its usual schedule.”

“The Ministry is coordinating with the Iraqi Embassy to find a suitable solution to keep importing the Jordanian agricultural exports to Iraqi markets during the closing duration,” the statement added.
