9 Drug dealers arrested in Maysan

Maysan, Amara (IraqiNews.com) The security forces arrested nine persons accused of drug trading according to the article (14) of Anti-Drugs law.

Maysan police Directorate reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com on Sunday “The police patrols of Anti-Drugs department received intelligence information about the existence of drug dealers in various areas of Amara city.”

“The police set ambushes and arrested the defendants red-handed and seized drugs in their possession,” the statement added.”The Anti-Drugs Department conducts continuous campaigns all over Maysan province to arrest the drug traffickers in the province,” the statement concluded.
