All Kadhimiya city’s crossings reopened

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The commander of the Baghdad operations reopened all crossings which lead to the Kadhimiya city in northern Baghdad, the Baghdad command said in a statement on Wednesday. “General Aboud Qanbar on Tuesday (Feb. 3) reopened all crossings and roads that lead to the holy Shiite city of Kadhimiya in northern Baghdad,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki had ordered to close all crossings which lead to the Kadhimiya within tight security measures adopted in the capital,” it added.
