Sadr Trend, Kurdistan delegation discuss bilateral relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Sadr Trend discussed with Kurdistan delegation that is visiting Baghdad currently, the bilateral relations and the political developments in Iraq.

Head of the parliament Ahrar bloc, Baha al-Araji, said “The high political body of Sadr’s office received Kurdistan delegation headed by the Kurdistan Region’s Premier, Najervan Barzani, where they conferred about the means to resolve the crisis between Iraq federal government and Kurdistan Region government.”

Araji stated that “The relations between the Iraqi National Alliance especially the Sadr Trend with the Kurdistani Alliance (KA) are strategic and important and should be protected where any defect in this relation would negatively affect the entire political situation in Iraq,” noting “Iraq is experiencing rising crisis, so the KA needs to be part of the solution rather than being part of the problems.”
