SLC MP calls on Kirkuk tribes to stand with security forces

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Mufeed al-Baldawi of the State of Law Coalition called on Kirkuk tribes to stand with the security forces to block way in face of Qaeda organization.

Baldawi said “Some of Anbar tribes’ withdrawal from the protest square is an honorable attitude following killing of the five soldiers when these tribes removed their camps from the protest square,” noting “this attitude indicates the strong Iraqis’ unity which showed their refusal for the violations against the security forces.”

“The security crisis in Hawija and its sit-in is very serious, so we hope Kirkuk tribes to beware of the seriousness of this situation and support the security forces so as to foil the plot of Qaeda and the joining of the armed groups to the demonstrators which aims at creating sectarian strife,” he added.
