Heavy rains surround villages in Maysan

Maysan (IraqiNews.com) The heavy rains falling on Maysan province during the last three days surrounded dozens of villages in Bitayra area, Majar district, Salam District and Ahwar area near Amara city of Maysan province.

Reporter of IraqiNews.com mentioned Friday “Heavy rains caused large scale damage for wheat and Barely crops since farmers are preparing for harvest season.”

The floods coming from Iran and resulted in blocking the road leading to Sheib border crossing, the reporter added.
