Urgent – Ahrar bloc 1st in Maysan Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Independent High Electoral Commission announced the results of the elections of Maysan Provincial Council.

The Commissioner, Muhsin al-Shimmari, stated in a press conference “The number of the seats of Maysan Provincial Council is 27 where Ahrar bloc got nine seats, the State of Law Coalition got eight seats and the Citizens bloc with six seats.”

“The allocated seats for women are seven,” he concluded.
