Hamoudi calls IS MPs, Ministers to follow example of Kurds – rejoin parliament & government

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Head of the parliament Foreign Relations Committee, and leading figure within the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Humam Hamoudi, called the Iraqiya Slate’s MPs and ministers to rejoin the parliament and government to maintain the state’s balance.

Hamoudi said “At a time we appreciate the attitude of the MPs and ministers of the Kurdistani Alliance for their return to their offices at the parliament and government, we would like to invite the IS’s MPs and ministers to return to their positions to preserve the balance of the country and its service course.”

“The boycotting of these vital state departments and disturbing the people’s interests will not serve but those who want to lead the country to the unknown,” he stressed.

Hamoudi assured that “The parliament must practice its supervisory and legislative role and regain its vitality as the good people wish that for Iraq most notably the Supreme Religious Authority in Najaf province.”
