IFF meets on Iraqi football team’s failure in 19th gulf tournament

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Football Federation (IFF) on Monday began a series of meetings regarding the failure of the Iraqi national team in its last participation in the 19th gulf tournament which was held in Muscat, a member of the federation said. “The meetings started on Monday under the chairmanship of deputy president Najeh Mahmoud and with the attendance of members of the federation,” Hadi Jawad told IraqiNews.com. “The members also discussed issues related to the Brazilian coach of the Iraqi soccer team, Jorvan Vieira,” he added. The Iraqi soccer team had an early departure from the competitions of the 19th Gulf tournament currently taking place in the Omani capital, Muscat, after losing two matches.   SH (P)/SR 1
