Iraq ranked 1st in German judo training course

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Judo champion Odey Tareq al-Rubaie was ranked first in a training course held by the University of Leipzig, Germany, and supervised by the German Judo Federation. “Some of the best Arab coaches from Syria, Palestine, Tunisia, Yemen, Mauritania, Algeria, Morocco and Tanzania joined the training course, which ended on Wednesday (Jan. 21). I, along with Tunisian world champion Anis Loneefy, was ranked first and received a mark of distinction,” Rubaie told IraqiNews.com news agency by phone from Germany.
