Hakim meets Sadr in Najaf

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, met with the head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, in the latter’s residence in Najaf.

The reporter of Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) stated “After arriving in Najaf, Hakim visited Sadr accompanied by a delegation and held a meeting with him.”

The delegation comprises MP, Abdul Hussein Abtan and some leaders within the SIIC where it may discuss the future alliances in the provincial councils and the political updates in Iraq.
