Othman: Barzani’s travel abroad not to avoid meeting Maliki

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mahmoud Othman, of the Kurdistani Alliance stated that the travel of the President, Masoud Barzani, abroad is not to avoid meeting the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, who will visit Kurdistan region soon.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “Barzani did not travel abroad to avoid meeting Maliki, but he left for a short period of time where Maliki’s visit will be done by holding a meeting for the Council of Ministers of the Central Government in Gerbil as it was done in the other provinces.”
