Libya inaugurates its embassy in Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Libya will inaugurate its embassy in Baghdad and nominated, Naji Shalgham, as its permanent Ambassador to Iraq.

Some source quoted the Iraqi charge d’affaires in Libya, Khalid al-Shalal, as saying “Libya will re-inaugurate its embassy in Baghdad and will effectively resume its diplomatic relations after years of stopping their activities in Iraq.”

“The Iraqi authorities approved nominating Shalgham as the Libyan Ambassador to Iraq and inaugurating the Libyan embassy in Iraq,” he concluded.

It is worth mentioning that Shalgham is currently the Ambassador of the Arab League in Iraq.
