IP, 2 civilians killed northern Tikrit

Salah il-Din (IraqiNews.com) Iraqi policeman along with two civilians were killed due to an IED targeting police patrol in north of Tikrit city, capital of Salah il-Din province.

Security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Thursday “An IED that was emplaced on a roadside exploded targeting a police patrol, where it resulted in killing a policeman and two civilians in central a people market in Beji district of northern Tikrit.”

“The police transported the dead bodies of the victims to the morgue,” the source added.
