7 Iranians die in road accident near Nassiriya

NASSIRIYA / IraqiNews.com: Seven Iranian visitors to the holy shrines in Iraq were killed in a road accident south of Nassiriya city, a local official said on Tuesday. “The dead included three men and four women,” the head of the health department in Thi-Qar, Dr. Hadi Badr al-Riyahi, told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Twenty others were injured in the accident, which occurred at night on the road linking Nassiriya city to Basra when the bus they were traveling in collided with a big truck,” he explained.
