Thi-Qar education dept. launches anti-explosives program

THI-QAR / IraqiNews.com: An educational program on undetonated roadside bombs and explosive charges was launched today in Thi-Qar province, according to the environment coordinator of the province’s education department. “The program aims to disseminate awareness of the dangers and damage caused by undetonated explosives,” Kareem Abbod told IraqiNews.com. “Around 100 teachers from different places throughout the province, particularly from rural areas, will be trained under this program,” he said.
