Energy Parliamentary Committee discuss preparations of MoE for next summer

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Oil and Energy Parliamentary Committee hosted on Sunday in the parliament the Electricity Minister, Abdul Kareem Aftan, to discuss problems facing the work of the Ministry.

A statement from the Media Department in Parliament received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) Monday, cited that “The meeting, which was chaired by Chairman of the Committee MP Adnan al-Janabi, and in presence of a number of its members, discussed preparations for the Ministry of Electricity for the summer season and the possibility of providing electric power in a better level than last summer.”

The statement continued saying that “The Committee expressed its willingness to cooperate with the ministry to overcome the obstacles facing the plans to improve the country’s electricity system.”
