Civilian killed in Baquba [05/14/2013]

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) The brother of a Mosque preacher was killed due to an armed attack in central Baquba city.

“An armed group opened fire targeting Mohammed al-Samarai, the brother of the Sheikh Shihab al-Badri who is the preacher of Shabander Mosque of central Baquba,” security source reported to IraqiNews.com.

A security force arrived at the attack site to start an investigation and transport the body of the victim to the morgue, the source concluded.
