Urgent – .third explosion takes place in Turkmen zone in Kirkuk

Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) A number of persons were killed and injured due to an IED in Tisaen neighborhood mostly resided by Turkmens in central Kirkuk which is the third explosion witnessed by the area on Wednesday.

Security source told IraqiNews.com “An IED that was emplaced on a roadside in Tisaen neighborhood of central Kirkuk exploded, killing and injuring a number of people.”

“Force from the Explosives Ordnance Disposal Department defused another IED that was emplaced near the incident spot,” the source added.

Tisaen neighborhood of central Kirkuk has witnessed a series of bombings on Wednesday by car bombs and IEDs that led to dozens of deaths and injuries.
