Fourth generating unit resumes work in Mussayab Electric Station

Babel (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Electricity announced that the fourth generating unit of Mussayab Electric Station resumed work in 100 Mega Watt.

The spokesperson of the MoE, Musab al-Mudaris, stated in a press statement “The maintenance for the fourth unit continued for 45 days.”

“Mussayab Electric Station is one of the biggest stations in Iraq and has four generating units where each one produces 320 Mega Watt and were performed by the Korean Hyundai Company in 1983,” he added.

“Properly the production of this unit to arrive 200 Mega Watt during the next few days,” he concluded.
