Tuma describes PKK withdrawal to Iraq as violation to Iraq\

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Head of the Fadhila bloc, Ammar Tuma confirmed on Thursday that “The withdrawal of the PKK elements to the Iraqi territories is a violation to Iraq’s sovereignty and an encroachment to the international laws.”

Tuma said “We welcome every peaceful efforts to resolve the problems and clashes among the people everywhere including the problems of the Kurdish Kurds with the Turkish regime, but we are extremely concerned over the agreement that was reached between the Turkish government and opposition party PKK which states in the withdrawal of the PKK militants to north of Iraq without any regulations. This step is considered to be trespass for the sovereignty of Iraq and the international conventions.”

“Any armed movement on ground of any country away from the official authorities’ actions is a breach for that country’s laws and necessitates the legal accountability,” he added.

It is worth mentioning that the second group of the PKK militants has arrived to north of Iraq on last Wednesday coming from Turkey according to the peace agreement between the Turkish government and the PKK leadership despite the Iraqi government’s refusal.
