96 persons killed, injured in Baquba Mosque explosion

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) 96 persons were either killed or injured on Friday due to targeting the Sariya Mosque with a bomb explosion.

“The death toll of the explosion that targeted a gathering for worshippers in Sariya mosque of central Baquba al-Jadida area reached 40 deaths and 56 injuries,” security source reported to IraqiNews.com.

“A security force blocked the roads leading to the mosque to transport the dead bodies,” the source added.
