Demonstration in Najaf to protest raiding Bahraini religious leader’s house

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The Sadr Trend supporters launched a demonstration on Friday to protest a raid conducted by the Bahraini forces on the house of the Bahraini religious authority, Isa Qasim.

Reporter of Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) said that “The demonstration started from Kufa mosque after Friday prayers to condemn the acts of the Bahraini authorities against the Bahraini people and the attack on the religious scholars.”

The leader of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, called on Friday to close the Bahraini embassy in Baghdad as a response for the raid on the house of the Bahraini religious authority Isa Qassim.

The Bahraini security forces stormed the house of Sheikh Issa Qassem on Friday dawn in Diraz area located to the west of the Bahraini capital, Manama.
