Technical reasons cause power reduction- ministry

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Ministry of Electricity said that power production in Iraq’s national grid will be reduced by 300 MW due to technical reasons. “A decrease in natural gas pressure in some stations have caused three of them to stop and reduced the production of a fourth,” a spokesperson for the ministry, Aziz Sultan, told IraqiNews.com news agency. The stations that have stopped operating are in al-Hilla, Najaf and Samawa, Sultan added. SS (P) 1
