Iraqi authorities search Iranian plane

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Aviation Authority searched an Iranian cargo plane coming from Tehran and heading towards the Syrian Capital, Damascus.

A statement by the Ministry of Transportation received by IraqiNews.com cited Monday “The Iraqi Aviation Authority forced an Iranian cargo airplane from kaspian Company coming from Tehran towards Syria to land in Baghdad International Airport on Sunday to be searched by security authorities at the airport.”

“Security authorities did not discover any prevented materials inside the plane to allow the plane continue its flight,” the statement added.
