More than 80 original manuscripts in Baghdad fair

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A fair was opened at the national center for manuscripts building in Baghdad where more than 80 rare manuscripts are on display for three days. “This is the first fair of its kind after the 2003 invasion and shows original manuscripts,” the general director for the center, Abdullah Hamed Mohsen, told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The fair will exhibit more than 80 original manuscripts for three days that date back to the first century on the Muslim Hegira calendar,” he added. “The exhibits include the Quran and manuscripts in modern sciences such as mathematics, engineering and antiquities,” the official said.   SH (P)/SR 1
