Parliament Endowments Committee calls to support initiative for holding unified Friday prays

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The parliament Endowments and Religious Affairs Committee called to support the call of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki for holding unified Friday pray.

The Premier, Maliki has called to hold unified pray on every Friday to renounce the sectarianism on background of the repeated targeting for the mosques in different provinces in Iraq.

A statement by the Committee cited on Tuesday “MP Ali al-Allaq, head of the Committee commended the Prime Minister’s call to hold unified pray, urging the Endowments Councils to motivate this initiative as soon as possible.”

The Islamic Dawa Party has called today, each of the Sunni and Shiite Endowments to uphold the Premier’s call for holding unified pray on every Friday in the capital, Baghdad.
