Urgent – .Hakim calls on all political sides to hold symbolic meeting to issue charter honor against terrorism

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, called all the political sides and the Sunni and Shiite Endowments along with Kurdistan Region to hold symbolic meeting to reassure the Iraqi people.

In his speech during a ceremony held at his office on occasion of Imam Ali’s birthday (peace be upon him), Hakim said “We would explain to the people through this meeting that no matter our disputes, but all will prefer to bow to the people’s bloods, thus we will extend a message to the terrorists and those who support them that they would not hit our unity and we will confront them until the end.”

He added “Let us turn this national statement into charter honor against the terrorism and sectarianism and whoever survives on the bloodshed,”
