Zibari, Egyptian Ambassador for Iraq discuss Syrian crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hoshyar Zibari, discussed with Ambassador of Egypt to Iraq, the Syrian crisis and the diplomatic movements to resolve it.

A statement by the Iraqi Foreign Ministry reported “Zibari met on Thursday, with Shareef Shaheen, the Ambassador of Egypt for Iraq.”

The statement added “The meeting tackled the Iraqi-Egyptian bilateral relations and means to develop them on all levels where the minister commended the Ambassador’s role in promoting the relations between both countries.”

“The Iraqi minister reviewed the political situation in Iraq and the region as well as the developments of the Syrian crisis and the diplomatic efforts being exerted to settle it,” according to the statement.
